This exhibition took place in December 2024 at the Wolfon Gallery.
It features the work of Year 3 students from London College of Fashion’s BA (Hons) Fashion Imaging and Illustration undergraduate course. As part of the Collaborative Experimental Practice academic unit, students were asked to evaluate and respond to the theme of Colective Care. The resulting works are multidisciplinary and experimental, co-curated by students in collaboration with academic staff utilising printed media, moving image, digital imaging, hand illustration and augmented reality.
Viewers are inspired to consider themes such as the preoccupation and commodification of self-care, the paradox of social media in creating wellbeing collectives, the role of fashion in social justice and what ‘care’ really means to young poeple today.
