By creating these fun and humourous surreal fashion collages, I have explored themes of consumersim and female identity. I have a playful approach to scale and the incorporation of inanimate everyday consumer items. Using the female body (hands, lips, legs) to explore hyper femininity in the media and advertising. I include retro elements whilst still keeping it contemporary. I used imagery from 1990s Vogue issues and also used my own styled photos.
